'The Sum of the Parts' is a student project by Abigail Solberg about visualizing recipes. The grid system represents the amount of a given ingredient in a recipe. The challenge with this artwork was to create a system that was equally beautiful and functional. Abigail wanted a design that not only tell a story, but also might be used also as a work of art in the kitchen.
This end result is a collection of 17 recipes, and all of the recipes are baked goods, divided into three main groups; breakfast foods, breads, and desserts. The prints are available for purchase through e-mail, and an online store will be coming soon.
