DIgg Labs projects are the results of collaboration with 'Stamen Design'(http://stamen.com/) and 'The Barbarian group' (http://www.barbariangroup.com). Labs provide a broader and deeper view of Digg and their works such as Digg Swarm, Digg Stack of Digg Arc are quite familiar to audience.
This year Digg celebrates its five year anniversary with a new addition to their Labs project -Digg 365. The idea was to create something that would encapsulate five years of the internet’s most popular stories, allowing them to be sorted and filtered easily. The Barbarian group came up with a very attractive visualisation, allowing the user to sorting information by year, month, day or category, find the top story from last year etc.
Dig365 is very well designed. It is joyfull, entertaining and yet easy to navigate.
